A bit more cover reveal for STRAIGHT INTO DARKNESS below.
I woke up this morning and checked my e-mail [before continuing to grade finals for submission by 8 am tomorrow] to discover it was the Ides of March and I’d just sent out an e-newsletter. Automated e-mailers are really cool. I have it set to deliver teasers of the last months blog post along with a few other announcements relating to current happenings. Except it went out with last months advertising! Which may have actually been January’s advertising. Oops.
Since the January 15th newsletter, I have actually released TOILS AND SNARES. I have adjusted my release date for STRAIGHT INTO DARKNESS. I hope to have ARCs ready in May for a July release. 2015 has brought its own set of challenges: family health issues, getting a high school senior to university auditions for cello and vocal and acting. Still, as of a week ago I had completed more writing than I had the entire first half of 2014!
So please forgive me for not updating the advertising. You can still read TOILS AND SNARES for FREE! I will give away e-book copies until I have at least 10 reviews on Amazon. If you haven’t read ALL IS SILENCE, you can still read it for free on WATTPAD. I you have read it, please leave an honest review on Amazon. When I get to 50 [Not to 50! Yes to 50!] reviews, I will select a random winner and mail them a signed copy of the hardcover version of ALL IS SILENCE, one of only 50 that exist in the world!
Here’s my current rough-draft, work-in-progress back cover blurb for the next part of Lizzie’s story:
Lizzie survived a pandemic that killed 98% of humanity. Now she is pregnant after an end-of-the-world, one night stand. She and her unborn baby are ‘protected’ by her family and the government of “The City”–no travel or endangering herself or the baby. Lizzie doesn’t like to be controlled, so she runs. Then the power goes out and we head STRAIGHT INTO DARKNESS.
