The good news is I’m writing again. 7000 plus words in the last three days. Unfortunately, NO_MAN'S_LAND-title-squarishthey are mostly not part of Deserted Lands Book III – No Man’s Land.
Instead I’ve written a short story.

Working Title: To Tell The Truth.

Features a young girl, born African American, adopted by white parents who worked for the U.S. state department. Raised overseas, sailing, traveling. Returning to the U.S. after her parents divorce, she’s about to start high school. When she comes back from her Back to the Future/Past Old West Trail Ride Horse Camp, mom whisks her away to the boat for some final alone time before school starts. They’re alone. No cell phones. Nothing but the sailboats radio. And it’s suspiciously quiet…

I’ll be looking for some beta readers, so sign up for my newsletter if you haven’t yet. That’s how I will share it.

Still working on No Man’s Land. Hoping this burst of writing energy kick-starts No Man’s Land.

I thought I did comment, but somehow it disappeared. I said I would honored to be a Beta Reader whenever you have something for me to read. Granny
