Welcome to The Indie Author Challenge, promoting NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in conjunction with the Whatcom County Library System, Bellingham Libraries, Windward High School and me, Robert L. Slater, author of the Deserted Lands series of apocalyptic fiction books/stories.

On October 14th, the second annual Indie Author Day, I, Robert L. Slater, will be traveling to twelve libraries within Whatcom County. in less than 8 hours. Learn about how Rob Slater “won” NaNoWriMo 2012 and jumpstarted a writing career. There will also be door prizes at each library: ebooks, t-shirts and novels. Here’s the schedule:
