Over 87,000 words now. [Pretty sure the total words written on this book exceeds 100K now.] It takes more words to show rather than tell.  And even as I’m cutting basic body function words that don’t move the plot forward, expose character or provide setting, I’m ending up with more words at the end of each chapter than when I began.
