Getting ready to buy my ISBNs. List price for my print book will be $10.99. Mostly because a synchronicity of numbers on the three ways I plan to sell it, Out of hand, Amazon and through consignment at bookstores. I want to get these books into readers hands so they are asking for the next book in six months. That price gives me a small margin (similar to what I would earn through a traditional publisher, from all three types of sales. Still trying to figure out where to price the e-book. Any thoughts on e-book pricing. Major publishers say that it only saves about 20% to pro-publish an e-book, so $8.79 would be reasonable. I’m leaning toward $6.99-7.99 since I don’t have the overhead that the biggies do. But I will have put in an incredible amount of human-hours personally by the time it’s available on all the e-book formats.
